Requirements for Ghana Business Visas

A business visa is issued to applicants who are going to Vietnam for business-related purposes.

Visa Requirements:

1. Passport Requirements: Provide your signed original passport book.  NOTE: Your valid passport book must have at least six months of remaining validity and at least one blank page in it.  Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for visa stamps. We can assist you in renewing or adding pages to your passport.

2. Two (2) completed Visa Applications. Please note: improperly completed forms may delay the processing of your visa.  The signature on each Ghana visa application must be original.

3. Two passport pictures in color, front view and with a plain/light background.

4. Proof of Travel: Round trip air tickets or flight itinerary.

5. Ghana Consular Fee:

Single Entry Visa (must be used within 3 months from date of issue): $60.00
Multiple Entry Visa: $100.00 
Single (Expedited): $100.00 
Multiple Visa (Expedited): $200.00

7. Two (2) copies of the IAG Letter of Authorization to process your visa.

8. Complete the IAG Customer Order Form.

9. Letter of Introduction: A letter from your company or organization in the US, printed on company letterhead, addressed to the “Embassy of Ghana, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.”  This letter must include the following information:

• Introduce the applicant, indicating the applicant’s position in the company.
• State the nature of the business to be performed by the applicant. 
• Guarantee return transportation and sufficient funds for the applicant’s visit. 
• Be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

• Letter of Invitation: A business letter from the company to be visited in Ghana printed on their business letterhead. This letter must mention the applicant and explain the purpose of his/her visit. In addition, the letter must indicate the length and place of stay, and include the company’s contact information.

• In accordance with INTERNATIONAL SANITARY REGULATIONS all persons entering Ghana are requested to have a valid certificate of immunization against yellow fever.
• Please DO NOT submit your certificate together with the visa application form.   You must keep it with you and present it at the port of entry in Ghana.

Additional Requirements:

• If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, you must first amend your passport to have pages added, or if your passport expires within six months, you must first renew your passport. Before you apply for a Brazil Visa please call us for assistance and further instructions for obtaining or renewing your passport or adding pages to your existing passport book. We can secure your visa using the added pages or new passport.

• Non US-passport holders or Temporary foreign visitors with a valid US visa or foreign residents with legitimate status in the US may apply for a Ghana visa at the Ghana Embassy. Applicants in these categories must send a photocopy of their US Green Card, Work Permit, I-20 Form, valid US Visa, and valid ID.  The Embassy will decide whether to issue the visa on a case by case basis. The Embassy may ask the applicant to provide additional documents.

• Applicants under the age of 16 (sixteen) MUST provide the following documents in addition to the standard requirements stated above:
  
  
• Copy of the Birth Certificate (which states the names of both parents).
  • Signed Letters of Consent from both parents
  • Photocopies of the parents' passports (bio-data page) or valid ID
